Bill 107: A New Human Rights Regime in Ontario Dec. 2006
The Human Rights Code Amendment Act 2006 (BILL 107) became law on December 20, 2006. Bill 107 will mean significant changes to the human rights compliance for all employers in Ontario. As one of our clients we know you will have an interest in understanding the details and implications of Ontario's new human rights compliance regime in particular how it will relate to the accommodation of disabilities in the workplace. Now, you will need to get ready for the new compliance requirements and to ensure your DM and RTW Programs and policies meet these new requirements. I will be writing a full explanation summary of these changes in the upcoming OPM newsletter. In the meantime please feel free to call us for further information as to how this will impact your current DM and RTW programs and how we can ensure you are compliant.
